Began karate aged 8. First represented Ireland internationally age 14.
Member of the Irish Karate Ireland (ONAKAI) National Squad and WSKF Ireland Squad representing Ireland Internationally.
Holder of 17 All Ireland Karate Ireland (ONAKAI) Champion and 9 WSKF National Champion titles and medals in kata and kumite.
International awards include WSKF World Cup double champion; 6 WSKF World Championships medals (Japan). JKS British and Irish Championships holder, Scottish and Welsh Champion, JSKA World Champion, Eastern European Champion, and Belgian and Sardinian medalist.
Holds All Ireland University Karate champion titles in kumite and kata for seven years.
Only female to have represented Ireland at the World Karate Intervarsities. Team member of the first Irish female kumite team at WKF event.
First karate athlete to gain Elite Sport Entry to DCU.
Certified in Introduction to Coaching & Level (1) coaching Ireland
Registered Instructor Japan.
Qualified in Health, Exercise and Fitness – University of Limerick.
Developed and implements various school and community based programmes for children, older adults and inclusion based initiatives. Areas of expertise personal training; health related assessment, programme design and consultancy, resistance training, circuit, body conditioning, strength and mobility training.
